This is my first ever blog and English was never my bag at school so forgive me it this goes astray (I’m gonna be singing 1999 now by Prince all day) but I felt the desire to share my journey into the world of Crypto along with a bit about my personality, why it took me so long to get involved and how it’s now a huge part of my life.
I have always wanted to learn about Crypto and like many others, I wish I had got involved earlier (10 years earlier would have been nice) but sometimes life is not ready to take on something new. I live a crazy busy life which is probably very similar to a lot of people with very few hours to spare. I am married, have 2 kids, both kids are involved in sport so forever taking them to football (soccer) and netball training and matches.
I have a full-time job which brings crazy stresses and socially, I have 4 big loves and they are football, music, movies & technology. I don’t do anything half-baked though as I am a season ticket holder at Stockport County, I manage and coach a grassroots football team and I am forever going to concerts and festivals with my love for music…you will find me in the fields at Glastonbury most summers and I design web sites and fix computers but rarely get chance to do this much anymore.

I’ve worked in IT most of my career starting out as a Tandem Operator and I have seen the evolution of computing first hand. I’ve been at the forefront of most of it which is quite amazing really as I have seen the journey first hand. Without giving too much away about my age I have seen most of the real innovation take place over the years and I’ve always had a thirst for being at the forefront of anything new as I like to test and try everything.

Its strange that I haven’t got involved in Crypto until now but it’s not Facebook i.e. download an App and have a play. It’s a lot more complicated than that and I genuinely didn’t have the time to give it the justice it deserved. I like to understand detail and without time to learn I would not be happy just skimming the surface so I never got around to getting involved…until a strange sequence of events took place.
The date was the 8th April, Covid-19 was escalating, the country was on lockdown as working from home became the new normal and my socially active life ground to a halt. No more watching Stockport County every week, no more concerts, no more going out with friends and family, no more training the kids football team and a whole host more just stopped. What did this mean to me…well…I had a lot of spare time on my hands to fill but with what?
The one thing I did do is keep reading the Stockport County fans messageboard for all the latest gossip and banter which was a daily thing for me to do and on the 8th April the first message I read on that day was this one from Whitey.

Now Whitey got a bit of stick for this message with majority of people telling him it was a scam, a ponzi scheme etc… but I saw this message at a time in my life when I had the chance to do some research. First thing I did was check how much 10k free csc was worth and it equated to approx £4 so this wasn’t something that really enticed me but what it did do was get me to research CasinoCoin and more importantly understand the basic fundamentals of what is Crypto…
A host of DM’s to Whitey and 24 hours later I had downloaded the Bankroll Manager (BRM) App to sign up for my 10k free $CSC. I remember Whitey messaging me to say “Am I excited to be on this journey” and my honest response was “not really”. Why did I feel this way…well, this was because I didn’t really understand what was about to place. I was at inception point, I knew nothing, I was a noob but I have one hell of an addictive personality and I don’t do anything by halves. so this journey was going to be an interesting one to say the least…I didn’t have a clue what was about to happen next.
